Ah. Then this is a classic “push through” scenario. Slow build at first, insane pay off that starts after Chapter 6. I’ve read the whole series twice. Everyone I’ve recommended it to is obsessed.

Felt that way about many things that I've ended up loving. Big stories need to set the foundation. For example, it took me 4 tries to get into Mad Men and now it's my favorite show.
