My first reaction is “Weightlifters will love this”. They all use, to the point where Olympic weightlifting is on the brink of being removed outright from the real Olympics due to rampant drug use

i wonder how trans athletes will be handled; will they allow people to compete in a category other than the gender they were assigned at birth that has been a complicating factor wrt to drugs in sport, too

I have been arguing for this idea since I broke my neck and recovered in 4 weeks with IOC banned substances To the aspect of fairness, it’s an illusion we draw an artificial boundary around, no program has stopped doping yet, nor will it. Within sports, drug tests are known as IQ tests This program benefits society

I remember seeing a similar type of competition maybe 4 years ago. Targeted more at social media bodybuilder types but same goal of showcasing enhanced athletes. I’m not sure what happened with it and can’t find it now, but I remember Larry wheels was a competitor

My body, my choice AND unfair play :) I am in favor of letting athletes do what they want but I am also pretty convinced this is not "fair" anymore and whoever enters that game better understand that "training" is probably not the way you win anymore.

New thought, WHAT IF women could load up as much test as they wanted, would all transgenders in sports arguments go away? We still have developmental arguments, but pretty sure a woman swimmer on 800mg of test cyp a week would annihilate Lia Thomas.

I don't buy the my body my choice thing really, you have a governing set of rules for competition whatever they be and everyone needs to adhere. This is just a loosening of this restrictions in one facet of competition.
