1.5C is a lost target, and likely 2C is as well (we broke thru it for the first time recently and have continued to breach it: https://climate.copernicus.eu/global-temperature-exceeds-2degc-above-pre-industrial-average-17-november) Best move now is to shore up local systems and be prepared for what your region will experience from the increased volatility

Climate Science communicators have been pointing to similar studies for so long... it is wild that governments are choosing short-term profits over long-term strategies. Unfortunately this is the problem when governments can really only think 2 years ahead and companies can really only plan a quarter at a time. 68000 $HUNT

how do you judge the credibility of an individual study like this? it seems like you could find quite a few catastrophic predictions from the past that were taken as fact when they were published
