100%. I have habit of self-deprecating which I've always considered a virtue. But starting to see it as a crutch. By mocking my own self value I'm avoiding the pain of someone else doing it. And for those who know and respect me, it's tedious. Just another normal-neurotic behaviour to work on. Thx for crystalizing.

Been thinking about this, I discount myself on Farcaster bc I’m not building/working in web3. My value add is more that I’m a personality contributor with non spicy fun positive nurturing vibes. I need to create more value add but also, be more confident. Thank you for the reminder to not discount myself!

Conversely, regularly giving without expectations of receiving anything in return is great for the spirit. A sense of humility can carry you a long way during hard times. Speaking from experience! Just got to make sure to not let anybody take advantage of you!
