One big advantage of wc over basically all the incumbent social media is amplifying people who haven't talked in a while.

The "keep your streak going" incentive that dominates most creates some really perverse patterns, and I hope that people appreciate more meaningful content that comes from this.

Three years later, that culture has evolved but it’s definitely still here.
