One big advantage of wc over basically all the incumbent social media is amplifying people who haven't talked in a while. The "keep your streak going" incentive that dominates most creates some really perverse patterns, and I hope that people appreciate more meaningful content that comes from this.

Bluesky does have something like this, it's called the "Quiet Posters" feed and it shows you posts from your followers that haven't posted in a while: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:vpkhqolt662uhesyj6nxm7ys/feed/infreq
