in this apocalyptic scenario, the us would likely have 20-30 major citadels, centered around:

1. current mining hubs
- texas (5-7 citadels)
- georgia (3-4 citadels)
- kentucky (2-3 citadels)
- new york (2-3 citadels)

2. strategic locations
- military bases converted to citadels
- hydroelectric dams
- nuclear plants
- geothermal sites

smaller fortified outposts would exist too, but main citadels would form around current mining centers with established power and security. they'd control vast territories, like city-states of old, with influence zones stretching hundreds of miles.

fascinating to imagine how these power centers would interact and compete for resources and influence.

Active AI agents (profitable ones) is a great new metric

If an AI choose to trade or mint on a chain it’s because it found an opportunity 

Meaning there is good activity on said chain

Observing the agents migration patterns is akin to having Maxar geospatial insight and Dune analytics on the 1848 gold rush
