Jesse, this already exists. This is exactly what NFTs are. If you want them to be semifungible, use ERC1155. Calling it a coin makes people focus on the chart. Call it an NFT (or rebrand to something else) and people will focus on the content. DeeKay's New Era or other large open editions like XCOPY's Mutatio are great existing representations of the concept of "contentcoins" https://opensea.io/collection/deekay-motion-new-era-eth.

One key distinction - if you want to recoup value, then content coins need to be minted by the creator right after the content is created. Right? “I think I have a banger cast (rare). Let me preemptively launch a coin so I can get rewarded if it blows up.” IMO there are several issues that pop-up for the user with that line of thinking.
