If you don't have a strategy for taking profit & doing other things with that profit, you stand a good chance of just becoming exit liquidity for someone else. Short term trading alone can often just lead to churning your profits back into the market. The way forward? You can track your efforts, be honest with yourself, & be tactical. Are you really trading? or are you just chasing dopamine? What is your Win/Loss ratio? How big are your wins? There's nothing wrong with throwing extra cash into things as a pure speculative gamble, but be honest with yourself about what you're doing and what your goals are. If you want to be profitable... I recommend you get a plan. And see if you can stick to it. You can always iterate on your strategy, but it's best to know where you actually stand. Or else you're potentially wasting your greatest resource... Your lifespan/time. 🫡 Time to get building.

Ok. Here's food for thought with a tangible personal example for all of you RE: Trading on these Clanker tokens (& really any high risk/fast moving token in our early ecosystems) Don't do what I did with SuperAnon $ANON. I held 11.6mil just after launch... it cost me $320 & would've been worth $168 300.00 as of the high a little earlier today. I'm guessing it goes much higher still. This would be huge money for my wife and I, and all I can do is... make sure that when I take profit (and I do), that I leave a moon bag. I don't regret making a 1st exit to take off risk. I don't regret making 2nd exit to move into profit. I do regret the speed & size at which I took profit following. It is hard in the moment. This is why rules & strategy, set outside the trade, are important. End of the day, I'm happy to have the W. It will help me provide for my family. But I don't want to make that same mistake again. 🙏

Ok so I got in on $LUM after all the chatter in the /insider-trading chat 🫡 ca: 0x0fd7a301b51d0a83fcaf6718628174d527b373b6 Talking about things that can help when it comes to a trade... First... do you have a set of rules that you apply to a particular strategy based on the asset/type of trading you're doing? Is this a total pump & dump asset & you want to get in, take off risk, take profit, hold a moonbag? (3 exit points?) Maybe you're going to take profit every time it moves up X%? (Leaving a moonbag) Or is it an asset that you believe can go much higher, and you have a history of early exits despite your belief? Mental game is real. Nerves are real. It's easier to stick to a plan when you commit to it. If you have conviction in a concept, it's easier to hold. Whatever your trade, drawing a line on the chart just helps mentally. You may allow that you don't have to totally hit your TP line if it gets close/up there, but you'll at least know when it's still far away that ... it's still far away.
