I don't know about warpcast, but I think an awesome starting point would be someone building a degen specific client that has $DEGEN deeply integrated (e.g. one click tip)

this could pair really nicely with a DEGEN L3 on @base where every tip could be a real onchain transaction. perfect use case for L3.

normally building ’startups’ within the walls of a parent company doesnt work v well — why does it seem to work for base?

negativity towards "airdrop farmers" is misplaced and biased.

hundreds of thousands (millions?) of people all over the world have decided that doing microwork for protocols is their best path to economic prosperity. that is incredible and should be celebrated. 

it's on us to enable them to contribute positively.

What’s an opinion you have (about crypto, and maybe also broadly about life) that you think most of your followers on Farcaster would disagree with?

1/ I think EVM L2 blockspace has PMF with a small but meaningful segment of global developers and that @base is gradually becoming the market leading offering for that segment

the next big milestone is getting to an offering and acquisition funnel that grows global & base quality weekly builders 5-10% week over week

1/ in the spring of of my first year of college in 2012, I sat down at table next to a friend of a friend who was visiting 

he told me about Bitcoin and how he was on his way up the coast to join a company called Coinbase as their first hire

I can't comment on future Coinbase plans like that but I know that the whole base team is fired up to keep supporting farcaster client and frames builders!

yes, i think most users will not think about what chain they are on when they are transacting day-to-day.

i think in order to do this we need much better wallet infrastructure. we're working on that with account abstraction and other investments.

think we'll make a *ton* of progress this year.

Do you see the current state of many chains (L2 & L1) being abstracted away for the average end user? If so, which pieces of the puzzle do you think are critical and/or missing? Where do you see Base fitting?

I still feel like I'm learning every day how to be a good public figure. there's lots of it I enjoy, but it also scary and hard and can feel like a lot of pressure. 

I am grateful for people's patience with me thus far as i've made mistake. and as i learn and grow in the future, I hope I'll be granted the same grace.

we're focused on making the 4337 experience work end-to-end in a really great way right now with better developer tools and end user experiences.

as that matures, we're excited about supporting efforts to enshrine account abstraction into the protocol itself (e.g. 3074) — we prefer incremental approaches vs big bang

when I was planning to leave Coinbase in early 2021 to go work on my own thing after 5 years of leading engineering for our consumer products, my boss and then head of engineering, Manish Gupta, asked me to take time off before I made a decision. 

he worked hard with HR to give me flexibility as I transitioned.
