i have always loved twitter but I think it’s now doing a lot more harm than good the algorithm was once a subtle manipulator, and it’s now an aggressive and overt one im still addicted to it, but the love is fading fast for the sake of many, we need farcaster to flourish and win

Agreed, I've had to temporarily delete Twitter from my phone since the algo was so bad and I needed a cleanse but made me even more optimistic about Farcaster

agree that x is overrun with politics and weird ppl but the content here is still mid keep dropping in and out every couple months, and each time x still has multiple magnitudes more value lack of diversity here makes for an incredibly boring experience

Absent an effective vampire attack, this is only going to happen if we reach stopping using X one by one. I stopped the day Elon walked in.

Yes but as much as I like the concept of Farcaster, it’s still pretty limited in terms of reach and content. It’s a chicken/egg problem though so not really sure what to address first.

I got rid of it last year when I saw it descend into an absolute clusterfunk of political attrition. I want my creative spaces and this place is absolutely perfect.

the algo is painful when it's working against you, incredible when it's on your side e.g. [my bags]
