Now when someone asks me what I think of the Network States thesis, I can just point them here. So that's nice :-) https://www.combinationsmag.com/build-network-societies-not-network-states

It’s been a few weeks since our last update, so let me fix that. You’ll recall we were exploring the sale of NFTs-with-benefits as a fundraising mechanism. The Addresso product and vision and the prospective NFT sale brought you here and others to our Telegram channel … and thank you for that 🙏 … but we now believe the fundraising idea has legs only further down the track. Quite rightly, anyone looking to put down an ETH or three will want reasonable confidence that the future product + service will be worth multiples of that over time, and perhaps more to the point confidence that the product will actually be launched and nurtured in the years to come. And as everyone can do math, one would ask oneself — how likely is that on a couple of hundred grand ($US)?

Just archived the passwords to the Slock-it and the-dao Slack channels. Don’t think I’ll be needing them now 😆

Looks like a MUST for everyone out there into true life crime stories. As Carl Miller just described on a LinkedIn post ... "Five years ago, a hacker I knew made a fateful discovery. He found a teeny vulnerability on a hitman-for-hire site on the dark net. A gap that he could squeeze through, and onto the backend of the site. There, he came face-to-face with something momentous: he could see the kill orders and payments being placed through the site. In real time. And there were dozens upon dozens of them. He came to me for help. So just as COVID was coming down, we found ourselves with live kill orders dropping into our inbox. Names. Addresses, pattern of life information, payments and in many cases page after page of grotesque elaboration. We gathered the information into one place, and started to call it the Kill List." https://variety.com/2024/digital/global/wondery-true-crime-podcast-kill-list-murder-for-hire-1236150213/

Me: Parent is to mother and father as ? is to aunt and uncle. ChatGPT: Parent is to mother and father as pibling is to aunt and uncle. "Pibling" is a gender-neutral term that refers to the siblings of one's parents, encompassing both aunts and uncles. ____ No such word in my dictionary. Anyone?!

Hi everyone. We scheduled our sale of Addresso NFTs-with-benefits for this time next week, expecting one or two events in the meantime that would help validate our mission and vision and so give our sale a very nice boost. These are taking a little bit longer than expected. The sale won’t now take place next week, but rather just as soon as this critical path plays out. Thanks for your patience. 😍

Suggested that my nephew consider building an Earthship for his first home. Wondering if it’s more that I’d like one! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthship

This channel now has 32 followers, which is four doublings in two weeks! Pretty sure that math will never be repeated! 😜 If anyone would like to share any observations, feelings, or insights in the contexts of addresso.com, please don’t be shy.

All you might want to know about what we're doing, on one webpage. We'd love to find out what you make of it. Here in /digitalidentity or in /addresso. 🙏🏼 https://addresso.com

We can reveal more about what we're building, why we're building, and how we're building. You could say we’re building the ultimate web3 address book, but really that’s “address book” in the same way your phone is a “phone” ☎️ Please check out our new webpage to find out more: https://addresso.com

The favorite thing I ever designed is Europe’s first application of the Google Maps API. At OnOneMap we went on to ‘liberate’ flood data from a UK gov agency to help the citizens who paid for it choose where to live more carefully. Supportive mentions in both Houses of Parliament, and legal action from gov lawyers. Interesting times! #opendata https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2007/jul/05/guardianweeklytechnologysection.freeourdata

You can think of Addresso as your web3 address book, and an interesting claim emerged in our conversations this week ... "Addresso is built the way you’d hope it would be." We feel confident it is, and yet of course we'd welcome all comments here about how you'd hope it's being built so we can compare notes. 😀

What does it mean to bring web3 to life, biomimetically? What does it mean for web3 naming and sense-making to be framed in the contexts of ten thousand years of human community? What’s more likely to work? Requiring humanity to conform to web3, or crafting web3 to weave into the beautiful diversity of human life?

What is Addresso? Why is Addresso? How can we build Addresso? Where does Addresso take us? All great questions 😁 The Addresso team has answers, but these answers won't be as good as the answers we can figure out together. So thanks for joining in here 😍
