A friend DM’d me from her X account today. 

Luckily, I saw in a mutual discord that her X account had been hacked. 

If I hadn’t seen her warning, I may not have realized it was a scammer in my DMs instead of my friend.

The level of vigilant we need to be in this space is exhausting. 

Gonna play along and see how this scammer’s game works.

i've done genuine collabs before with friends tho, so less easy to spot when it's coming from someone you know. but red flags are there the further the convo goes for sure

"collab" always means scammer and it's unfortunate.

Ask him for money first.
Scam the scammer.
