Started on Blue Sky and Farcaster today. Spent very little time on the former and digging the latter. Taking notes on what make the difference

💯 while both have invite-only mechanisms, farcaster has very high-context communities of builders and curious minds, so feed feels authentic and inviting for engagement, while bsky feed right nows reminds me of blue bird with lots of strong opinions, hate, memes

I found it harder to get a sense of the scene on Bluesky - felt too big. Was easier to latch onto the memes on farcaster, so i stuck around

They’re all a performance.

Whereas Farcaster typically more often rewards authenticity and real discussion

It’s interesting here at first, then gets into a stale freeze environment for new accounts
