as the others said: morning routine ☀️ for me it's too easy to get caught up in other stuff later in the day, but the morning routine is my rock, keeps me sane. bathroom > cat chores > big glass of water w EAAs > mobility routine > garage gym > food "the scaffolding around which you can craft your best life"-TF

The only thing that really works for me long-term is making it the first priority, the first task every day. Whenever I move it later or even after work, I’m struggling to get to it. Lots of good challenges to get back into a routine. Obv it also helps to get a personal trainer or do sports together. Join a cross fit or hit classes or call up some friends and create a regular Padel/Tennis/Football group. Whenever I’m in/after the gym, some matches, I feel 10x better and wonder how I ever lost my routine - for me, it’s usually some injury & work reasons but stupid excuse 🫠

Similar spot. I’m doing some of these suggestions rn: - walk more. use them as active breaks to your work - force schedule time in your week to go. showing up is half the battle - find a fun alternative workout. can make dragging yourself out to be more fun and still exercise

leave your whole workout/gym bag out the night before and go first thing in the morning (the “red carpet” strategy)

The two day rule, focusing on consistency in two day streaks instead of large chunks. The two day rules also says it's okay to miss one day of consistency but it's not okay to miss two. And if you miss three you have to call a friend/accountability partner.
