Look again: the cast is now diamonds. The first Cast has been /witnessed in its raw form to serve as an onchain verifiable attestation. No data transformation required. In addition to being more efficient architecturally, this opens up the ability for anyone to retroactively make any cast - past or future - function as an onchain verifiable attestation. Took a 20 minute Uber today, cost me $19.89. Driver took home a little over $5. Uber's take is 75% - that seems surprisingly high. I would have expected a split closer to 50-50.

It's very exciting to see where Farcaster goes from here. Need a better sync/consensus system, one that may one day enable optional sharding of the state perhaps? Can DAG based consensus help? They scale super well. What can you do without stake/points scores? Whatever happens, FC will likely set the bar.

I am noticing that the most successful new ideologies of the past decade are very object-level (prescriptions on specific issues) and quite little meta-level (social processes for making decisions on object-level issues). Examples: * Abstract libertarianism feels much weaker than 10 years ago. But issue-specific versions of it are quite successful: YIMBY (housing), the crypto space * e/acc (it's about all technology in theory, but ends up being about AI in practice) * The largest cluster in effective altruism morphed from being meta-level ("think harder to making sure your donations are going where they can do the most good!") to object level (AI safety, with a little bit of animal welfare and global public health) * Longevity movement Maybe network states and Glen and Audrey's Plurality movement are two exceptions - but in general the above feels like a strong pattern. Any ideas why this meta level -> object level shift seems to be taking place?

i'd like to extend an open invitation to anyone building something meaningful on farcaster to reach out to me in DMs if they ever want any feedback on anything they are doing, and ill be happy to give you my opinion and feedback absolutely free, for whatever that is worth i've been in crypto since 2012 - bought my first btc at $90, first eth sub $2 ran my own bitcoin and ethereum nodes, mined both, watched silk road go down, was on mt.gox, part of the original eth DAO im not an engineer, but I know a lot about the space, and i've seen way too many projects go under over the years because people are getting advice from the wrong sources - venture capitalists, people who are new to the space, web2 converts, people with all sorts of fancy titles and education that doesn't mean anything here if i don't get anyone to take me up on it, that's totally cool, but i wanted to offer what little I can to people working to build here
