Bubble formation is a standard part of the path for new tech adoption, so its likely that we're at least in the very early innings of one. Unclear how long it continues growing or how big it gets.

one of my favorites insights from Howard Marks is how investor perceptions almost always swing between flawless and hopeless neither is ever true. in the real world, things fluctuate between pretty good and not so good.

Isn’t any trend that gets people to pivot their attention and resources technically the recipe for every bubble?

I think it's more of a financial bubble. Amount of funding isn't equal to output, especially in big companies and with big funding. When everyone is free to invest like that - the only goal they pursue is getting more rich from it - which doesn't help anyone.

I can't see how we're not. Unlikely that 90%+ of the AI startups we have now will have traction/PMF. Doesn't mean there are no great startups out there, but we'll have to see who stays standing after the initial hype is gone
