whenever I see people praise kanye i feel like i'm taking crazy pills. "Well, I see good things about Hitler also" "We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time" it's fascinating where society draws the line. being pro nazi is no longer a deal breaker for a disturbingly large number of people.

What I commonly see missing in critiques like these is the simple fact that Kanye is bipolar and refuses to take his meds...NOTHING he says should be taken seriously and yet takes like this are prevalent. Objectively, he hasn't been right since his mother passed.

he understands what/who he is and uses it to his advantage in the dominant culture just cuz he says crazy shit doesn’t mean the literal message was his actual reason for saying it I saw that moment as him deliberately torching his contracts/positions at Gap and Adidas because both didn’t follow thru on his vision

Completely agree with this! It’s insane to me. The attempted conflation of his pro Nazi bigotry with his mental health issues, as an excuse for his behavior, is also offensive to all of the people with bipolar disorder who don’t suddenly turn into racists when they have a manic / depressive episode. 🤷‍♀️

I know people like to use the term Nazi inflationary, but Kanye is strictly speaking not a Nazi because that undermines cruelty of those actually called Nazis. There is a big difference between saying something and using industrial methods to kill millions. But yeah Kanye is probably a Neonazi.
