An AI project based on a command line interface (CLI), described as 'Web3's first AI of this kind'. Some users analogized it to an AI version of the Vim tool and explored its potential for Linux/Ubuntu environments, but most were skeptical about the actual value and technical details of the project (e.g., 'can't find github', 'suspected of being a gold standard cabal'). There is a clear market sentiment split: 'calm teacher capped' suggests KOL involvement, and 'cap before research' reflects the FOMO mentality of some users.

i haven’t done the personal work to process this yet but (i say this as someone who owns a vision pro and has a few AI subs) my first reaction to the cluely ad was that i’d rather key management system than live in that world https://x.com/im_roy_lee/status/1914061483149001132?s=46&t=rxAVkMPnT_8alZYrwLqp6g

here is the story of the most elaborate and expensive hi-fi system that @brileigh and I have ever heard: we met this hi-fi dealerβ€”let’s call him Larryβ€”when visiting nyc after I inquired about a particular brand of electronics that only they and two other dealers in the U.S. happen to carry (Spectral Audio). more about Spectral another time, though. we were brought to a smaller room than this one and another staff member set up our modest demo of a CD player, preamplifier, stereo amplifier, and floorstanding speakers. after about 30min of listening, Larry burst into the room with his walker clanking loudly. he had recently had surgery on his leg or foot, and he joked that he was considering bringing a mattress to the hi-fi showroom so that he could sleep here instead of commuting.

Bull market witnesses KOL's ability to call orders, while bear market witnesses KOL's ability to conduct investment research. This stage is an excellent time to screen for quality KOLs, and discovering and going long on their knowledge is essentially discovering and going long on alpha opportunities.

I've found the closest analog to these early years of crypto were the early years of social media. Discovering extremely powerful emotional responses triggered from a CRUD database was like discovering nuclear power from these tiny pellets of uranium. This echos the powerful incentivization enabled by the discovery of digital scarcity. Back in 2006-2012 you had thousands of startups of various sizes building all sorts of variations of social media. In my YC batch during this period, half the startups were working on mobile social media apps of some sort. (SoLoMo, MoLoSo, etc.). There were plenty of high concept, big raise startups that were pure narrative and crashed. There were weekend projects that ended up gaining viral traction and raising VC funding within 72 hours of launch. (Remember Yo?).
