Both zuck and Elon have done a lot of work outside of social media that I really respect. But I hate the way both of them handle their social companies. I think it just shows that it is incredibly difficult to manage a social media website at a large scale.

Imo, hate is a strong feeling. We can't control their actions and how they choose to invest/spend their money/resource. Don't use the product, this is in our control. Haven't used FB/insta for 3 years. Slowly moving from CT to here because this platform follows my views of how a social app should be.

Hard agree. Though I must admit, Elon has been doing a terrible job running Twitter. The launch of Threads is well timed, I think it’s only a matter of time for them to release a ‘spaces’ equivalent feature. I would love to see them embed NFT PFPs, but I don’t think Meta is a fan of blockchain integration.
