Yes but who exactly is the holder of the ID. Because if just a legal person then still a slave …. Must be executor of the person to gain actual sovereignty in law.

private, revocable decentralized ID with this. E.g. if a service only needs to know if I'm 21 or older, but it can query my ID and response is, "yes" or "no"-- not a photo ID with my address on it. Maybe a pipe-dream, but what is seen on shipping labels is garbled nonsense to a casual reader, except to internal infra of the shipper/email provider.
