if you don't know the market cap, it's irrelevant? XRP, Solana and Dogecoin prices are not comparable

I'm not very sophisticated and tend to just look at price first and foremost. I often remember for each asset previous prices and so its a reference

On most buy/sell screens price is front and center so when getting an asset you know your buy in/entry and you index to that when comparing or scanning assets. Enables quick mental math on how much up/down you are.

I agree with the market cap argument you're making. I believe some people see a lower/much lower price and assume that there is value, or more upside b/c the price is lower.
