Anyone have a clever analog way to play albums from their digital music services? Always annoys me to take out my phone to start playing music only to get distracted by another app.

Wait yes I do, it’s an Apple shortcut! This assumes you you Apple Music and the albums need to be added to your library It will either play the most recent unplayed album or the least recently played album is the former is false. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/fc5fbda3743541dd9d5f6ed637e16d68

NFC tags and an Apple shortcut. I keep one in my garage gym and tap my phone to start a workout playlist on the Sonos out there (via airplay). Also have one at my desk, etc.

I use voice control but would spend big money on a beautiful analog radio like thing that has a native Spotify integration

'hey siri, play XXX on <music provider of choice>' if you have an iphone 15p / 15pm, you could use the action button to set up a shortcut to open said digital music service app also

I use spotify on my tv or xbox a lot. It's linked to my home sound system. Also pretty handy when friends come over.

perhaps a dedicated (integrated) speaker would do the trick, assuming this is for home audio. for portable audio, pretty much the same line of logic: get a portable dedicated audio player (e.g. shanling m series) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dA70XDFh2Xk&t=1288s

Once my phone is connected to my BT speaker, I just need to hit the play button on the BT speaker and then the music comes on. I don’t know if that would work for you.
