If I could nudge one thing with the meta, change the recast requirement to a follow requirement.

- More durable potential ongoing relationship vs. 1-time
- People will likely give you a chance b/c they can unfollow
- Would likely increase the participation since it doesn't spam their feed.

agreed. fwiw I did it for research purposes — there has never been such a direct link between reactions on social media and onchain actions. frames are incredibly powerful

Agreed, the quality of the feed nosedived (hopefully temporarily) with the recasts 😞

I guess it’s either: folks stop requiring recasts or clients will deprioritize/allow to mute recasts in the feed, which nicely gets around the problem 🤷‍♀️

You can always ‘unrecast’ but I agree on the first point and think that’s sufficient

strong agree with this one - am always thinking about how to build repeated authentic engagement vs one offs.

Each frame creator wants you to like and recast the frame; it has become the default now. In less than a week, Farcaster developed into a "spam schleuder," as we would say in German.

Follow instead of recast, yes; do you want to forbid recast via frame completely?

You're right. With the small community here and the channel feature other forms of interaction are much more valuable. Gonna launch my next frame with follow instead of recast and compare the numbers 🤝
