Why are there so few AI industry conferences relative to crypto conferences?

Possible reasons: 1. Still early, conference industry is picking up 2. More geographically concentrated atm pretty much SF 3. More dev related less finance related so less money to be made by purely organizing conferences -imo lots crypto conferences are a show for retail traders to buy in or exchanges to get a feeling how popular projects are for listing

more geographically centralized means there is less need since coordination can happen within existing institutions
