Is anyone on Farcaster using Towns? Each town is a group chat represented by a smart contract on Base. Assuming you could identify all the towns, then you could see how many of the users are on Farcaster. Thought about using towns for an FCNY official group chat a while ago but realized in the spirit of supporting Farcaster it would be better to try to use existing Farcaster group chat features. That being said, I would say the most consistently active farcaster user group chats I check frequently are on telegram and not here

I tried it. Bad rollout imo. Currently not possible to add identity… and all accounts are embedded wallets. So I have absolutely no idea who anyone is. Why in the world would I join anything, let alone pay? How will people know to join when I start my own? I’m supposed to go recruit them?

how would that be possible? the towns users wallet addresses aren’t linked to any public fc identifier, right?
