I used the giving block because they gave good receipts I could use for matching when I was at Google. It's not the simplest, but I'd recommend people making larger donations to use a DAF or set up a foundation.

If the charity doesn’t accept crypto directly then use a DAF and they will cut a check for them.

Easy. https://www.daffy.org/ They accept crypto and have crypto portfolios. Donor advised funds allow you the tax benefit now, and deciding who to donate to whenever you’re ready
