Deleted Twitter off my phone this week. Going to see how long I can go in 2023 without using on mobile (will still use on desktop, esp. since we're still doing invites there but hopefully not for long).

How is this experiment going? Inspired me to try the same. My New Years Resolution is to finally admit I am addicted to my phone & try to curb my usage to one hour a day. Twitter mobile is easily the biggest problem.

Have been doing the same for the last three weeks and it’s felt amazing. After getting through the initial tweaker phase I rarely even check desktop now. Have noticed my focus go up drastically. Godspeed brother.

also dumped it. revisited for holidays but felt good to have a strong reason. muscle memory to open phone open app happened a lot at first but I treat it like a red string around my finger, take it as a queue to direct that energy somewhere

I did this coincidentally the week you onboarded me do Farcaster (and I have been using FC on my phone). While I certainly use FC to procrastinate and for the quick dopamine, my impression is that I’ve been getting more out of it than I was from Twitter
