Not to overthink this at this stage for a “sufficiently decentralized social network” but… When will the Farcaster team revoke their god mode for Farcaster usernames and other features? Also, how about using a Harbinger tax meets user activity hybrid model to mitigate squatting?

Small UX nit: You clearly cleaned up whatever "!3900" used to be as a username. Perhaps a move visible indicator such as "[Deleted Username]" or "@basicusername1234" for those coming across threads with replies and posts later? HtH.
