more convinced than ever that everything becomes tokenized, but less sure how tokens maintain value when anyone can launch one or to put it another way: - everything will be tokenized - tokens trend toward zero unless they're meaningful anyone have thoughts on how to solve the conflict?

Remember that tokens are not the things that hold the value. Tokens, in themselves, are not valuable. Despite what the current meta would have us believe. They are digital *representations* of the the things that hold value: products, experiences, real world assets, exclusive access, ownership, etc.

In the limit, token value is equal to the potential of the agents contributing to it + mindshare

Don’t think there’s much conflict there. Decay is natural and healthy. Assuming token price speculation gets balanced with other ways of returning value to long term holders, then tokens will find the dynamic euilibria they deserve. Biggest problem is nothing new: hard to be heard; hard to find your crowd.

we need some tokenization use cases of things that have clear value and staying power and then we need to tell those stories well--much better than we tell stories now. right now, there's this clanker and that, etc but there's really no clear place to go to say, 'yeah, but that's the casino...here are 5 use cases that will change the world' Even a few breakthroughs would give us a narrative that is clearer and more engaging for people who aren't here playing.

Tokenization β‰  requires value. It's just representation that allows anything to be read, write, act in the digital world.

of course the majority of tokens go to zero value will flow to the tokens that represent the effort of others. this is why some of the highest valued tokens are art this is why tokenizing the physical is so interesting

imo it's all about the context of the coin, who created it, is it authentic? where did they share it, how did they create it, is it their first coin? what is the narrative behind the coin

Tokenization will continue to grow, but value must be maintained through utility and scarcity. Solutions may include strong use cases and limited supply

Tokenization is inevitable, but utility and scarcity will determine value. Generating trust and ensuring regulation can help maintain value

Hmmm, well I think tokens created in the emerging RWA sector will be able to maintain value for the long term
