Makes theoretical sense but in practice, it fails because pineapple doesnβt bake well. It becomes mushy, losing a lot of its acidity and creating a strange, somewhat cold texture which decimates the mouthfeel. You could perhaps make an argument for grilled pineapple but now weβre venturing into the realm of subjectivity, which has no place in a debate.

I love thin fresh pineapple with prosciutto! It caramelizes so nicely! Iβm also super into honey with 4 cheese pizza lately!
