Coinbase ran a recruiting / retention analysis a while back and they found out among all the things they could do to retain talent: offsites, more bonuses / promos, etc. the number one driver of recruiting + retaining successfully was price activity

DAOs and Farcaster seem like a match made in heaven

Your most valuable asset isn't your content.

It's your ability to resonate with the right people at scale.

The tools that help you do that are worth their weight in gold.

the most generative constraint for me personally has been not having a lot of money

really glad I did NOT hit some huge win on memecoins, I've seen a couple people who I see as talented "could build something" types do this and they haven't shipped anything 

embrace your conditions, capital is a tool. if its available to you, use it. if its not, forget about it. 

whatever perfect idea you have that requires a ton of capital is probably not so great actually. i might even argue taking the $ away will probably force you to be more realistic and to execute. 

when I think about funding I think about removing the basic barriers to focusing time and attention on a problem, not racks on racks

I could finally swing the floor Cryptopunk if I completely cashed out everything (depending on the price of ETH). But then I have to pay taxes on gains, and I’ll have no more tokens left to trade. Not worth it.

I always do the mental math to leave a >20% tip after dining in, but today I decided "I don't feel like thinking" and opened the calendar app.

At that moment I realized I need to rethink my relationship with vibecoding.
