this week, channels start getting their own leaderboards, wallets and tokens. @humpty's been cooking a big revamp for /cryptosapiens channel. many channel owners and mods are going to transform their channels into thriving communities and *economies* 👀 @dharmi @moe working on some great frames for channels.

What are we missing? Also worth pointing out that the next "big" project is onboarding directly to a channel. Rough idea: you can invite someone to Farcaster and when they sign up, they immediately join your channel(s) and their initial home feed is weighted toward your channels and people you interact with a lot. Should help solve having a group of people to interact with on Day 1 without worrying about not having access to channels and/or spam labeling.

Spam labels Once the new version of channels launch at the end of this week, Warpcast spam labels will not apply within channels. If you're a member of a channel, everyone else will see your cast in that channel. Your channel, your rules. Additionally, all of your followers will see your casts in your home feed. Spam labels will only apply to replies to people who don't follow you outside of channels. For channel owners / mods, if someone is being spammy in your channel after the changes launch, you can either 1) hide their cast or 2) remove them as a member.
