doesn’t need to be as long as Twitter, but a bit more away Twitter handles it is also good, where there is an incentive to stay short so that the whole post is shown in feeds, but sometimes you just need more space hard for me to go back to threads by comparison which always felt clunky to me

I personally hate longtweets. One solution you might consider is making a @paragraph then sharing the link here. It creates a readable frame. I wonder if it’s possible to create /frames where the bounds of the iframe is responsive to the length of the post? Though having tweet length casts make it much easier to share individual casts that resonate, which can boost the overall thread 🤷♂️
