Cast length is just a bit too short. I don't like "longtweet" format personally but whatever we're at now it's a bit too short. Mastodon's standard length (servers can set custom ones) is 500 and it feels perfect.

I personally hate longtweets. One solution you might consider is making a @paragraph then sharing the link here. It creates a readable frame. 

Another option is @flink which allows for long casts but shares them as an imagine on other clients.
