Appreciate the video! My take: Irrational market (memecoins) needs rational market (infra) 😂

Yep.. Crypto is about free choices… people only swap $ for a valued beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…

Great take. Recognizing that projects that don’t share your values are allowed to proliferate is what it means to build on permissionless and credibly neutral systems.

appreciate this video. I will push back on the idea that, past a certain scale, it doesn't affect others: - fc ux/culture has, imo, struggled under the hyperfinancialized influence of memecoins at various times in the past. The ongoing bot/spam jihad may or may not be related - first impressions matter, and from a regulatory / broad cultural awareness perspective, i don't think the industry is set up for success when "the casino" is the first contact outsiders have with crypto. To be dramatic, it would be like if MLMs were the face of capitalism or ponzis the face of investing (instead of the invisible hand and property rights and pooling capital to share risk etc) ofc i think some of the community stuff is genuinely interesting and not all MCs are created equal. My respect for a token and its community is roughly inversely proportional to how much their discourse and culture are focused on "number go up"

one nitpick...shootout to twitter and youtube...then ending up posting it on farcaster 🤷‍♂️ no one will come use web3 products if you continue to only promote web2 stuff..

One point I would mention. Speculation is just that so categorising as good or bad speculation is like saying good or bad gambling. It is what it is and only you can decide if it works for you or not. Breaking laws of any country you operate in will be more risky than if you don’t hence decentralisation.
