Serious question - who's still here? What's keeping you around and what are you getting the most out of FC these days?

1. I don’t know better place to *bootstrap* a crypto product that requires social element 2. A lot of people I trust are posting here 3. I am betting with conviction, long term, on the MM team and the developers who are passionate about building on their infra

There are people here I really enjoy — that keeps me around. But there’s very little relative value in focusing most of your time and energy on Farcaster right now. If anything, it’s more insulated than at any other point post-Frames.

im here. casting less, but still having farcaster as the focal point of my creative endeavors. i see it as a cloud of consciousness that has always been contained inside Warpcast. either expands out of it into other platforms that bring new stories or it collapses into nothingness 👀

Still here — I feel this corner of the internet is the perfect combination of what interests me intrinsically, crypto, tech, art, economics, memecoins, nfts, business, startups It aligns with the way I perceive life — People are optimistic, curious and passionate about their deep interests

the communities, the authenticity, the composability imo crypto as an industry attracts a disproportional amount of grifters and short-term people as a result, there’s a smaller % of smart, long-term people it seems those people spend their time building community here vs elsewhere the value from this compounds

i built a successful, cash-flowing business here (/microsub) and a lot of my friends + many of the best people in crypto are here being able to write code and immediately have 100s of people use it is incredible and doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Still here, but I've... retreated, cut my participation by 80% or so. What's keeping me around is the chance that Dan and Varun succeed and make a robustly decentralized internet social protocol. But I've lost sight of the mission and have deep misgivings not-specific-to-farcaster that forced me to reconsider the situation and risks. TLDR: I'm less confident in farcaster and so I'm hedging on time invested.

I still have vastly better distribution for my product here than I do on twitter because I was early here and built a following until I have a better following on twitter this will be the primary place that I post, despite the fact that I feel that the product decisions being made here are handicapping everyone who has spent time to try to get reach on farcaster

access to talent, skininthegame, opportunity also huge at this point: relationships - the trust & mutual dependencies that have naturally grown out of being here for the past 8 months. these links represent shared beliefs, responsibilities, and dedication to going bigger over time putting time into crypto on X feels like trying to build the future without being able to use half of the most interesting things enabled by our tech. why should I spend time generating content for an obsolete system when I can stake out some ownership & reach in a network that allows that? that is composable with the rest of my work

my first 6 months on here i was getting 0 views/reactions on all my casts (“no powerbadge era”) turning point: wrote about my FC exp on paragraph & also posted videos of lifting sessions for /higher-athletics challenge those got enough action i earned a PB (now defunct w channel overhaul) but still seems VIBRANT here compared to when i started. now i am in a bunch of group chats, making real friends, soon going on a trip and will meet some of those friends irl in Tokyo, /higher has kept me engaged and unleashing some of my action potential. 2 personal projects to launch soon™ & trying to transition full-time career into this industry (tough with adjacent exp but no true professional crypto exp, everyone wants years of same-role exp 😤) some of the reasons i am here ^^

Still here. It's mostly the friends that I have that keep me here. I don't think it's the best for spinning up a business/project at scale, tbh 🍖x120 100 $Aba 60👏

I feel at home here between builders, creators, artists, writers, shapers. I'd even would consider living together IRL with some of you eventually. This NFT frame is a start 😀 https://farcasterland.makerdock.xyz/api/pfp-color/passport/235323
