The Base vs Solana debate will only continue to grow as more consumer chains go live. Abstract, Zero, Berachain, Monad the list goes on. Continually feel as an app builder its better to think about your cross-chain strategy vs trying to bet the house on one winner. How are other people thinking of this?

Begrudgingly agree @newtroarts uses zora, base, tezos & solana. Currently unable/ unwilling to support them on Tezos or Solana but opening up to the possibility if enough musicians use those chains.

The tribal chain vs chain arguments seem like theyre primarily for projects who are focused on trying to grab *existing* crypto user capital. If you’re focused on expanding to the broader consumer market — especially for non-financial apps — you’re choosing Base and you’re very comfy with it.

Idgaf about the chain Thought process: Where are the people, what are they doing, why is it interesting, what can I do that's additive there that creates an opportunity ; I'm excited for abstract and I'll probably fuck about on anime chain too cuz IKZ! Our next app will abstract chains entirely and just smart route whatever asset from wherever to where it needs to go

That's exactly it. All apps planning to actually "onboard the masses" need to at least abstract the chain aspect away, if not be truly cross or multi-chain.

Absolutely cross-chain approach if feasible for what you’re doing and you’re not starting now. I mean look at Jokerace team of 2-3 live on 120 chains. But you may want to be “the one or no.2” on that specific chain like Abstract.

bring cross chain from day 0 is what we have been building towards - possible for most EVM chains finally. non EVM is a different ball game but also key to kind of pre empt where attention may flow in & prep for the particular chain strategy (for us it was TON)
