You should check out Vespertine. They recently reopened and had two stars at one point years ago. Josiah Citrin is a true OG out in LA. Can’t go wrong there as well. I don’t think LA does fine dining like SF or other Michelin featured cities.

Abbott Kinney Blvd is probably your best bet in Venice itself. ‘The Butchers Daughter’ has good vegetarian food and ‘Felix Trattoria’ decent Italian. Lots of other places on the Blvd are worth checking out. It does get crowded on the weekends so plan accordingly. Hope this helps.

not much but rustic canyon in sm is your best bet, scopa is a bit more casual but elevated italian, the most michelin-like definitely melisse
