it's getting wild — the difference between running sub 3 and 2:50 is massive. Generally need around ~50 V02Max to run sub 3 vs ~53 for 2:50. Not a marginal jump

Floberg has been dealing with this in his Chicago build and was getting rocked the first half of the block with illness and bad workouts, but just set a HM PR at Hidden Gem So definitely doable!

Wanted to go sub 5:30, but still pretty happy with this as my first crack at the mile. I’ve never done a mile time trial before so didn’t really have a great sense of how to pace it or how I should feel throughout
