Anyone have the experience of racing a marathon shockingly well after a not super great training cycle? 🤣 *not great defined as* - off on paces in workouts, maybe some illness/injury which cut the training block short by a significant amount, etc. just wondering what's possible lol

Floberg has been dealing with this in his Chicago build and was getting rocked the first half of the block with illness and bad workouts, but just set a HM PR at Hidden Gem So definitely doable!

FLOBERG!! That’s awesome to hear. Part of why the sport is so awesome.. nothing is guaranteed even if you have a perfect build, but sometimes years of consistency can line up on the day. ❤️
