/okbanger friends šŸ¤— how do you approach ā€œreflectionā€ in your daily life? Is this something you do? what do you wish the process can achieve for you? I spent this morning reflecting on reflecting (ha!) to prep some thoughts to share on the show and I want to make sure that we address what you think too!

Should I reflect on you reflecting on reflection or does that make the whole situation too reflective? I don't want a sunburn.

"Reflection" is my Monday Daily Focus Word. Every Monday, reflecting on the week before, on the week to come, on what my other Words bring up for me. Reflection is a different sort of practice that my standard daily contemplations. A deeper look than I can do day-to-day.

I make time for reflection daily, even in small moments, to check in with myself and recalibrate. It helps me stay aligned with my goals and gain clarity. Ideally, I'd like it to bring more balance and insight. Would love to hear your thoughts on it too!

Not as often as I wish. I think it's because I spend time doing other stuffs that I forget about reflections. And when I do is when I'm about to go to sleep. How often do you do it?

Is this your hint at what my favorite Cs and show will be about tomorrow? Iā€™m sat and wonā€™t miss a minute. I reflect to improve and grow. Do you reflect, and what do you hope to achieve?

It depends on the aspect of my life I want to reflect on. Concerning work, I reflect on how I could have done the job differently to achieve a better outcome. I also ask myself what I learned from interacting with others and analyze whether a particular relationship or habit is beneficial to me. Additionally, I consider ways to enhance my financial management. I also observe the experiences of others and draw valuable lessons from them.etc

i approach reflection by setting aside some quiet time each evening to review the day, what went well, what couldā€™ve gone better, and what Iā€™ve learned it helps me stay grounded and focused on growth how do you incorporate reflection into your routine christin?

For me, daily reflection is about pausing to understand whatā€™s working, whatā€™s not, and why. Itā€™s a chance to check in with my goals and align my actions with my values. Sometimes itā€™s as simple as asking, What did I learn today? or How could I have handled that situation better?

suggest you read this book. It breaks down how we thinking into two systems -fast and slow- and explains how we get trapped in mental traps called cognitive biases! Thinking, Fast and Slow Book Ā· 2011 https://nook.social/content/ca23d089-e0ad-4276-b3a7-cfedb438b8dd

Personally, I know it might be weird but Iā€™m always in a constant state of reflection I like to analyze all my past experiences and always apply the lessons Iā€™ve learnt from the to whatever is happening in my life at that moment You canā€™t properly strategize your moves as an individual if thereā€™s no element of reflection prior to that, it just has a way of reducing errors in your play

Tbh I donā€™t really like to but somehow I end up reflecting And frankly speaking I tend to focus more what I might have done wrong or right (I could be like May be I should have done it this way and this way bla bla) But guess what most times I end up crying or blame myself. But It also help me to work better on the mistakes Iā€™ve made!
