what online yoga teachers/videos do /yoga friends recommend for an almost-beginner? i mean more "actual" yoga and less yoga for adrienne (which is also great but it doesn't capture my attention for some reason) i know it's much better to get an IRL teacher but time flexibility is more important for me right now 😅

I was lucky to have been recommended these David Swenson videos when I first started. There's a 15, 30, 45min version, all modified from the full Ashtanga practice, which is a set routine. Overall, it's much less mental burden so you can just focus on breathing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAySDECiM90

the p90x yoga vid is actually not half bad - and free online if you know where to look One thing I would say is that it can spend a little more time than needed in some poses (cause it’s workout ish)

I actually really enjoy a yoga app called down dog. You can customize length, focus area, music, and your level of practice in yoga. It’s also simple and to the point.
