Any recommendations for improving post-workout recovery time in your 40s? I'm not taking anything right now which isn't ideal, want to get back into it though.

Get a recovery powder, otherwise sleep/stretching/eating will be your best options

Yeah, sleep & nutrition is where Matt's answer pointed at as well. I was thinking to add a recovery powder of some sort as well. What's a good one these days?

I would say taking a creatine will help too. I can link the one I take if you want. Creatine is not messing with any hormones and has been proven to give a slight edge to your workouts over time. For recovery stuff, Iโ€™ll have to take a pic of mine to show. But, aminos are what youโ€™re looking for

General goal is to build back full body and core strength, especially legs. This helps with my knee problems. And, to lose 25 lbs, then maintain. I also train Krav Maga, so improved recovery will help there also.
