I peruse the fitness channel every couple of days, trying to answer any health/performance related questions when itโs within my scope of knowledge If yโall have specifics tho donโt be shy, tag away Health & Wellness should not be exclusive

Any recommendations for improving post-workout recovery time in your 40s? I'm not taking anything right now which isn't ideal, want to get back into it though.

Get a recovery powder, otherwise sleep/stretching/eating will be your best options

Yeah, sleep & nutrition is where Matt's answer pointed at as well. I was thinking to add a recovery powder of some sort as well. What's a good one these days?

Creatine will be helpful, but aminos will not if youโre eating a balanced diet Recovery powders are all marketing angles. Very few exogenous sources will improve recovery when sleep + nutrition are locked in At that point the R/R isnโt worth it IMO
