For experienced lifters, working out 3x/week has incredibly higher ROI than 4+ days/week For amateurs the inverse is true Why? The better you are the more work it takes to improve… = higher effort = more time to recover Very very hard to structure 5x/wk of intense lifts Less is more @ the elite level

I have determined the optimal time to workout is approximately 9a (for me) Up sometime between 5:30/6:30 Sunrise walk, breakfast, some light chores Cuppah coffee (pre-workout) Then a 90m lift Now that’s a perfect morning

My hot take is that sports injuries (ACL, UCL tears, etc) are increasing due to natural evolution of athletic ability in humans We’re producing more force at higher rates than ever before Our bodies can’t adapt fast enough, thus more injuries

Last weekend spent 30 hours in the hospital with a client who tore his patella tendon Today spent 3 hours at urgent care with a client who (thankfully) didn’t have a fractured 5th met or cuboid I’ll do anything for my clients, but please stop getting hurt I’m exhausted 😅

8 clients, one emergency ankle sprain of a head chef at a restaurant, a Pilates session, and one tired coach Typically I don’t like to see more than 5-6 clients a day, but sometimes it’s good to be busy 8 hours of sleep gonna hit diff tonight

If you’re on the internet you have to learn how to read text without applying emotions to it If you read it in a negative tone, it will come off as negative If you read it in a positive tone, it will come off as positive Learn to read in neutral tone and take things only at face value, much better that way
