Chick in the self checkout line at Whole Foods On speakerphone with her friend Slowly bagging her groceries with one hand A rare and totally unacceptable double-offense A public shaming honking was in order

GOOD NEWS GANG I in fact did not tear my meniscus as anticipated but I did sprain my ACL which is a huge win. Major major win. Enormous win. Torn meniscus bad. Sprained ACL not that bad. With right plan can heal 100% and I can be back to normal in hopefully 3-4 months I’m ecstatic I had 93% confidence it was meniscus which is extremely confident But mri showed acl sprain as primary diagnosis, there might be some minor meniscus involvement I’m getting a second opinion on the radiology report but either way this has drastically changed the potential outcomes

Ace Hood might have the greatest discography of all time and I’m not even kidding The poetry between the Starvation mixtapes + Trials & Tribulation is unreal If you don’t like rap / hip hop fine, but just read the lyrics like a book he’s one of the greatest story tellers ever

New 5-star review just came in Idk what the universe is up to but this morning I got the first ever refund request from a customer who said they didn’t like the product And then same day this review comes in about how it’s almost too strong 😅 All I can say is I poured my heart and soul into creating the strongest nootropic from natural ingredients Only way you’ll know if it’s right for you is by trying it, and if you don’t like you have every right to ask for a refund. 30 day money back guarantee Over 200+ orders and only 1 refund request. Chances are you might just like it www.feelnoetic.com

Being able to match what music you listen to during a workout with your mood is a super underrated performance enhancer Some days I want hip hop, some classic rock, some house, and some days like today it’s John Mayer bringing me into heavy OH presses

I’ve had dinner with Nas, lunch with Anthony Davis, flown on Rich Paul’s jet, can text Maverick Carter and get a response. Been to Philly with Dion Waiters, North Carolina with Chris Paul. Done sessions with Miguel Cabrera and Von Miller. Been to San Clemente for Dwayne Wades invite only camp, saw Melo hoop, and turned down a contract to work in the NBA bubble during Covid and to be full time with PJ Tucker in Miami. Just a small reminder to myself that my life is dope

One of the businesses I’m going to start when I’m rich is a law firm dedicated to scrupulous lawsuits against medical providers that overbook appointments and make customers wait hours Sincerely, 30 minutes into an MRI appointment that has not happened yet

In an ideal world of physical fitness a person has 3 hobbies: one skill based sport, one endurance based sport, and strength/resistance training The combo of these 3 is the ultimate longevity plan Longevity isn’t about health optimization. It’s about doing things that make you happy When you stack happiness & competitive pursuit with activities that encourage physical fitness, it’s impossible to lose For me it’s Golf, Cycling, and lifting Golf gives me the game to play, enjoy, and improve upon within nature and a social circle Cycling gives me the endurance exercise, meditative quality’s, and also nature aspect And resistance training gives me strength, aesthetics, and willpower If you can create a life where you’ve got these 3 areas covered, you’re going to forget about longevity anyway cause you’ll be happy (and healthy) af

When it comes to strength training, you really only need to be lifting 3x a week Any more and you’re doing it as a form of exercise (which is fine), but you’re not going to make more progress at 5x/wk vs 3x If anything the risks of injury go up because you need to be dialed in on sleep, nutrition, and your splits

There reaches a certain point in my coaching relationship with a client where I am comfortable attacking their core identity “You said you wanted to [achieve goal], but the effort you’re putting in right now is wasting both of our time. Either give it your all or don’t come back after you leave” Have done this twice, and both times were turning points in that persons fitness. You should never worry when a coach is riding you hard When you should worry is when they stop correcting you at all. That means we’ve given up The harder we push you the more we care

You will be treated 100x better if you can order and converse in Spanish (@ Hispanic restaurants of course) Lowkey the greatest side effect of my Spanish learning journey is no longer being seated in the corner of the restaurant and ignored for 1/2 the night 😂

In my experience inbodys margin of error can actually be upwards of 15-20% And Ive seen it both over- and under-estimate body fat % so wouldn’t always assume it’s underestimating because like he said hydration levels can have a big difference DEXA scans are used for professional athletes and imo are overkill for regular people A well-trained personal trainer with skin calipers can measure your body fat within 2% margin of error to DEXA scans Every bodybuilder in the world knows how to do this I really believe in simplicity and functionality so while good data is never a bad thing, what matters much more is what you do with it I find that people will inundate themselves with data and then fall short on the changes that need to be made from that data So I always recommend, and how I coach my clients, is you need to EARN your data Knowing exactly your BF% down to the decimal is useless if you’re not implementing basic changes

Client calls me: “hey I’ll be a little late with traffic, I didn’t realize I95 would be so busy…” Me thinking… “at 8 in the morning, driving south, at the same time everyone else in south Florida is going in to the city for work…” NEW RULE If you don’t factor in traffic to your travel time automatically -25 IQ points Luckily I KNEW this was gonna happen so I wasn’t prepared to be at the gym on time anyway 😂
