One of my goals in 2024 was to be conversationally fluent in Spanish I knew I had gotten a lot better but didn’t think I achieved it Then I was listening to a Spanish podcast yesterday and realized I could understand 90% of it Like I could follow the conversation even tho I didn’t know every word Then it hit me like damn I really do speak Spanish now lmao that’s crazy My goal over the next few years when I get Noetic to a sustainable spot is to move to a Spanish speaking country for six months to cement Spanish as a second language

You wanna hear some crazy shit?? So 2 weeks ago I did a breathwork session with one of my old clients’ fiance I knew she was IG famous for astrology, but like w/e I’ve been there before So I do this breathwork session and she’s great it was great, and she tells me she was transported to another dimension Tbh not unusual, breathwork is very powerful stuff and if the person is receptive those results and experiences can happen Anyways I’m like ok cool moving on And so I got onto IG today, and my shit starts blowing up with followers They’re all Spanish, and I’m like oh shit what did I do (idk why I always assume it’s negative lmao) And then I see she tagged me in a story. So I check it out (mind you she has like 3.5m followers) and it’s a question from one of her followers asking who the guy she did breathwork was that she talked about in the podcast And I’m like, podcast?? So I find the link and check out the podcast 1.1m subs This chick just shouted me out to 4m people 😳

Starting to come to the realization that productivity / focus just isn’t a big enough problem that young people are willing to spend money to solve It’s ok tho, I knew from the beginning it was a possibility. I launched with 4 buckets of target audience that I’d try to sell to On to #2

Was at the gym earlier about what children’s books we remember as kids We all have one, mine was The Giving Tree So we’re going around, and I ask my client who’s a leading doctor in his field in the world (in his 70’s now) He looks and goes, Math Made Easy We all burst out laughing. I go, wait really? He’s like… yea LMAO Guess that’s why he’s a leading doc and I’m a trainer 😂 Ok now hit me, what children’s book do you still remember and hold dear?

Today is the day Meta revolts My products randomly get denied from Facebook/IG shop’s and now my ad account just got disabled due to “suspicious” activity Yes this is exactly how you should handle the potential ban of your biggest competitor (Tik Tok) is by making it really hard for your current customers to do business And I thought I was gonna be productive today lol NOPE gotta put out fires smh

At a nice hotel restaurant, not very crowded She went to seat me in the dining area with everyone else I politely informed her I’d like to work on my laptop, and maybe if it’s possible to sit away from other people cause they may not like that She completely understood, and instead sat me in the corner of the lounge where they usually wouldn’t serve dinner (but will serve me) I probably won’t get great service over here, but that’s cool with me. It’s a win win for everybody

Biggest mistake I’m seeing in these upwork proposals is that I’m getting bids for my max budget from people who are clearly way out of their payment range What I mean is this: my budget is $1100 (+/- 40% but don’t tell them that lol) And I’m getting bids for $1100, makes sense And then I check the persons profile, and they are offering their services for $20/hr So you’re telling me it’s either gonna take you 55 hours to do this project, which is insane Or you’re overcharging Hard no to these people. What they really should have done is gone thru and estimated hours and offered a bid under my budget. At least then they’d have a chance

On food quality: I would rather eat from a family farm that uses traditional agriculture techniques & has 0 credentials/certifications than a conglomerate that has all of them Organic, pasture-raised, regenerative ag certified, etc
