Any recommendations for improving post-workout recovery time in your 40s? I'm not taking anything right now which isn't ideal, want to get back into it though.

Get a recovery powder, otherwise sleep/stretching/eating will be your best options

Prioritize sleep (8hrs) Prioritize nutrition (calories+nutrients) Be comfortable with leaving the gym without completely exhausting yourself. Leave some left in the tank. Live to lift another day. Hire a coach or learn how to create a structured program so you can progress without overtraining
