possible to now deploy tokens with a single API call https://docs.neynar.com/reference/deploy-fungible - no gas / nonce management - no contract creation / deployment - no solidity call a REST API with the right params and it will deploy a token on with @wow factory on @base @neynar pays gas costs so the API is allowlisted right now, reach out if you want to use 🪐

what do you think would be the best usecase of tokens on Paragraph? Either Paragraph-wide token or creator tokens

I like kompreni's take on using tokenisation to incentivise people/community to build on an initial premise / idea. For instance: https://warpcast.com/kompreni/0x0f79bbb9. But instead of this jobs format (more startup minded) a writer might incentivize other writers/creators to take an article like this one (https://paragraph.xyz/@papajams.eth/farcasters-ai-bot-token-launchers) and expand on it to fulfil needs like this: https://warpcast.com/slokh/0x8af285b9, or reimagine it in different formats for wider distribution & to create a bit more of a universe around the great ones. There's some fun to be hand around incentivising serialization too i reckon, set some kind of bounty (in tokens that only appreciate in value if the eventual cohesive output is engaging), then probably the OG author decides which of the available forks to go down (as opposed to governance) 🍖 x 100 10 $nogs

I like this idea a lot and it sounds similar to remixing: https://warpcast.com/colin/0x40816a62 But, where exactly does the token/tokenomics come into play? Each post will be an ERC20 instead of ERC721 and some amount gets shared with remixers of the post? Or some generic creator token gets distributed based upon the successful/popular remixes they create?

One token mode @carter introduced which i liked: https://warpcast.com/carter/0xfa957bfb In this instance the mother meme/channel is writing (on paragraph) as the OG source upon which podcasts, tik toks etc sprout, but feed back to the core "asset" - akin to the generic creator token distribution based on popular remixes. Another token mode is to lean into the prediction market meta. I immediately think of reddit where 'due dilligence' writing is used in hopes of persuading others to invest into certain positions, the ones where the author combines their intellectual with financial capital (on the line) have more gravitas/weight. There's probably something in the longbets approach thats less degen e.g. @macbudkowski hypothesises circa 20% adoption is when we get the next instagram:: https://kanfa.macbudkowski.com/onboarding-next-billion-users-ethereum convincing argument/thesis - pretty sure a market could form around that with competing views

i do keep thinking about the core-meme -> mini-meme concept. it feels like some memes are so in-the-moment that it's very natural to spawn them out of a parent concept, potentially like a paragraph post (unclear how well paragraph/memecoins mix, but also i think there's so much unexplored in memecoins - what if the dickbutt website was a paragraph post launched/associated with the clanker) goes along with the idea i put here of having multiple frontends for clanker ("fee split with launch app")- meeting people where they want to create memecoins safely and use a common/trusted network https://warpcast.com/carter/0x9d07bcf0

Totally get the incentive for wanting to participate in predictive markets and how that could be interwoven w/ long-form writing. The Reddit example is, IMO, spot on. Also love the core meme -> mini meme potential. I especially like the idea of medium / platform hopping. e.g., Paragraph post -> animated video on YouTube or short-form video on IG / TikTok / Zora. What we're kind of having a hard time figuring out on that thread (or "remixing") is how to nail the incentives / flow of funds in a way that really encourages the initial spark. How do we get the original writers / artist / creator okay with giving up some funds to encourage remixing / sharing / etc.? And/or how do we get other folks excited enough to remix a piece of writing or any kind of creative work, vs. just coming up with their own original idea (where perhaps they capture all the earnings)? Not sure if that makes any sense...
