3. Sweat equity

Right now, the only way to get skin in the game in new tokens is by buying in. There are so many people that want to earn tokens by doing real work - work that could contribute to the success of the token. 

That's why 12.5% of tokens are allocated for hiring via the /basedjobs protocol.

I like kompreni's take on using tokenisation to incentivise people/community to build on an initial premise / idea.

But instead of this jobs format  (more startup minded) a writer might incentivize other writers/creators to take an article like this one (https://paragraph.xyz/@papajams.eth/farcasters-ai-bot-token-launchers) and expand on it to fulfil needs like this: https://warpcast.com/slokh/0x8af285b9, or reimagine it in different formats for wider distribution & to create a bit more of a universe around the great ones. 

There's some fun to be hand around incentivising serialization too i reckon, set some kind of bounty (in tokens that only appreciate in value if the eventual cohesive output is engaging), then probably the OG author decides which of the available forks to go down (as opposed to governance)

Remixing is something we've been deeply thinking about at Paragraph.

Establishing provenance of original ideas; rewarding writers for creating valuable writing; rewarding remixers for providing their own takes; and opening up new avenues of discovery.

Supercharged citations with built-in economic value.

Excited to begin exploring this within the product.

But, where exactly does the token/tokenomics come into play?

Each post will be an ERC20 instead of ERC721 and some amount gets shared with remixers of the post? Or some generic creator token gets distributed based upon the successful/popular remixes they create?

In this instance the mother meme/channel is writing (on paragraph) as the OG source upon which podcasts, tik toks etc sprout, but feed back to the core "asset" - akin to the generic creator token distribution based on popular remixes.

Another token mode is to lean into the prediction market meta. I immediately think of reddit where 'due dilligence' writing is used in hopes of persuading others to invest into certain positions, the ones where the author combines their intellectual with financial capital (on the line) have more gravitas/weight. Great pod riffing on that prediction market integration idea. I could imagine an aggregation of strong signal content (i.e. writers with some kind of skin in the game) around specific topic areas. If I could collate the most high conviction takes on stablecoins for instance from onchain writers in Argentina, Kenya, etc that would have value.

Also, for $paragraph specifically, consider the idea it doesn’t have monetary value, but earning more unlocks product features around distribution (see how kiwi // rawanon & anonbangers curate the best content).

Currently the feedback loop for writers is binary, did anyone mint (good) or not (bad). Tokens could introduce gradation / spectrum. You earn some over time for instance, but if it’s too AI that amount is really little, or if it’s just huge chunks of text etc. Cool way to guide content.
