The idea that a fact so basic can back more complex ideas is flawed. It's not about a genetic bottleneck or the notion of an "original pair." A widespread misunderstanding is that your Y chromosome traces back to your paternal grandfather, while your mitochondria trace back to your maternal grandmother.

Sometimes I just let Cursor using sonnet or o1 try to figure out what could be causing a bug just by looking at the code and me describing the behavior I'm trying to fix. It has never worked. They still work best for me as auto-complete, stackoverflow and multi-file editors on steroids.
